All companies in Argentina that sell directly to the public in shops, are required by Argentinean tax authority (AFIP) to use “fiscal printers”. The fiscal printers are devices which store every “ticket” (invoice) printed.
The fiscal printer must receive information from SAP during the billing process, like customer master data, materials description, pricing and taxes.
Also, SAP must receive information about the emission of the ticket, like the fiscal number, to finish the billing process and post the financial document.
